Within the framework of cooperation between Ain Shams University and the universities of the State of Kazakhstan, Prof. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Ambassador of the State of Kazakhstan, Khair T. Lama Sharif, in the presence of Prof. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the University, Prof. Mostafa Refaat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs, Director of the International Cooperation Department in the University’s International Relations Sector, the Cultural Counselor of the State of Kazakhstan, and a number of students studying at Al-Alsun College in Ain Shams from the State of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the President of the University, Prof. Mahmoud El-Matini, confirmed his welcome to the cooperation between the university and the universities of the State of Kazakhstan in all fields, through the various faculties of Ain Shams University, including the Faculty of Archeology, the Faculty of Al-Alsun, the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Faculty of Computers and Information.
His Excellency recommended the necessity of parallel cooperation between the aforementioned faculties in various fields with the universities of Kazakhstan, through holding a zoom meeting for how to implement the joint cooperation later, with the necessity of translating many books into other foreign languages that in turn contribute to linking the universities together.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Khairat Lama Sharif, stressed that the State of Kazakhstan welcomes cooperation with Ain Shams University in all sectors, especially scientific research, to contribute in many areas such as the detection of cancerous tumors, the manufacture of vaccines for the State of Kazakhstan, water problems and the provision of various natural resources in the long run.
The ambassador added that there are 16 students from the State of Kazakhstan studying at the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, which confirms the importance of joint cooperation between universities and the transfer of experiences, as the State of Kazakhstan gives importance and value to the Arabic language and seeks to master it among its children.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the State of Kazakhstan presented many books in various fields, while the President of the University invited the ambassador to attend the “Festival of the Arabic Language” scheduled to be held 12/18/2021, as a first step in the means of cooperation between the two parties
